This session is a follow-up to Teaching the Brain part 1.  This session will focus on applying the research-based information from part 1.  Teachers will identify places within their curriculum that they can enhance acquisition and retention of knowledge by tapping into the environment, methods, and student learning styles.  Teachers will choose one brain-related characteristic and revamp it to help student's brains "hook" the information they need and use it effectively.  Teachers will leave with ideas for environmental and lesson planning changes they can incorporate right away.
